Forget-Me-Not "It's Raining Cats & Dogs" Gala

Mrs. John B. Hannum graciously hosted the Chester County SPCA's 21st Annual Forget-Me-Not "It's Raining Cats & Dogs" Gala, on Sunday June 1, from 5 to 8 p.m., at "Brooklawn," her magnificent Unionville estate.

The Forget-Me-Not Gala, which is the Chester County SPCA's premier fund-raising event, included food and libations from some of the best caterers and restaurants in the region. Participating caterers and restaurants include Brandywine Prime, Bistro on the Brandywine and Bistro to Go of Chadds Ford, Brandywine Catering by Pace One of Thornton, Brown-Forman Americas, Buca di Beppo of Exton, Funky Lil Kitchen of Pottstown, Ruffini's Restaurant of Thorndale, Sinclair's Sunrise Cafe & Tea Room of Kennett Square, Spaz Beverage Company of West Chester, Starbucks of West Chester, Victory Brewing Company of Downingtown, and The Whip of Unionville.

This late-afternoon and early-evening gala garden party featured dancing to live music courtesy of Voodoo DeVille, a traditional horse and carriage parade, and demonstrations by various animal-related groups including the Rose Tree Pony Club and U.S. Customs and Border Protection Dogs. Thank you to everyone who joined us at the best annual fund-raising party in all of Chester County!
