Annual Benefit Horse Show

Date: 26 September 2010
Details:

The 37th Annual Chester County SPCA Benefit Horse Show will be held today (September 26, 2010) from 8 a.m. to dusk at the Radnor Hunt Pony Club on Providence Road in Malvern.

The Benefit Horse Show, which is the Chester County SPCA's oldest continuing fund-raising event, will include two rings and numerous divisions for children and adults. Proceeds from the show help fund animal cruelty investigations conducted by the Chester County SPCA.

The Chester County SPCA investigates more than 400 reported cases of animal cruelty each year. Because of the show, the Chester County SPCA is able to employ full-time humane society police officers, maintain two ambulances and provide the equipment necessary for cruelty calls.

Admission to the show is free to spectators. Proceeds from the sale of raffle tickets, and gift items benefit the Chester County SPCA.

The Benefit Horse Show is a member of the Chester County Horse Show Association.
