Two family pet dogs, Emma and Luna, were found shot to death in Pennsbury Township, on the afternoon of Sunday, October 25.

The Chester County SPCA is the largest registered nonprofit animal welfare organization in Chester County, PA. Named "Nonprofit of the Year" in 2007 by the Great Valley Regional Chamber of Commerce and "Best Place to Get a Pet" in 2008 by readers of The Philadelphia Inquirer, the Chester County SPCA celebrates its 80th Anniversary in 2009.
