Foster Homes Needed

Provide a Foster Home for a Cat and Her Kittens

Animal shelters across the country see an abundance of homeless kittens in the spring and summer months due to normal breeding patterns of cats. The Chester County SPCA is no exception.

In keeping with that, we are currently looking for foster homes for cats and their kittens.

To provide a foster home, you will need to:

  • provide a room just for mom and her kittens
  • provide litter and food

The shelter will provide vaccines and staff members will be available to answer any questions you may have.

Generally moms and their kittens need a commitment of 8 to 10 weeks so that the kittens can grow up strong and healty.

If you are able to provide a foster home for a cat and her kittens, please fill out a form online in the volunteer section of this website or stop by the shelter at 1212 Phoenixville Pike, West Chester. For additional information, call 610-692-6113.

PLEASE SPAY AND NEUTER YOUR PETS AND ENCOURAGE OTHERS TO DO THE SAME! TOGETHER, WE CAN END ANIMAL OVERPOPULATION!
