Sandra J. Thielz (right), president of the board of directors of the Chester County SPCA, presents a Portrait of Playmate, an original work by Chester County artist Lizbeth Natua, to Mrs. John B. Hannum at the 2008 Forget-Me-Not "It's Raining Cats and Dogs" Gala. Mrs. Hannum hosted the event on June 1 at her Unionville home, Brooklawn. More than 400 people attended the gala, which raised over $70,000 on behalf of animals, programs and services at the shelter. Playmate is Mrs. Hannum's Jack Russell terrier.
